 VOLTA SUPER DRIVE - THE HYGENIC POSITIVE DRIVE BELT
The development of the new SUPER-DRIVE was motivated by a need to provide a solution for problems experienced in the meat processing industry, and to address the four biggest
challenges faced by the meat processing industry. The SUPER-DRIVE belt has solutions for these problems, combining the benefits of modular belting with the ease of cleaning
and low bacteria count that is characteristic of Volta homogenous belts:
- Positive Drive: Teeth were added to the underside of the homogenous belt; these integral teeth mesh with the teeth of the drive pulley, providing smooth and effective
positive drive for the conveyor belt.
- Tracking: The structure of the integral teeth duplicate the v-guide often found on guided belts and the use of the grooved tail pulley and a grooved slide belt provide
a natural guide system that eliminates off-tracking.
- Durability: The SUPER-DRIVE is highly resistant to cuts, chemicals and other contaminants found in food or other processing facilities. It is possible
to replace damaged belt sections on site.
- Sanitation and Hygiene: The SUPER-DRIVE materials are USDA/FDA/3A Dairy certified and extremely hygienic. The combination of integral teeth, smooth, shiny
surface and high quality material eliminates the crevices where bacteria can grow. The belts can be joined endless, without the need for mechanical joints and fasteners, eliminating another
potential source for microbial contamination.
